As you can see I was inspired by the 1950's movies poster which I love to recreate with a Mario twist to it. I will like to know what you guys think, since I still think there should be some other adaptations to it. Thanks

I think your poster is pretty dope. However, I still think there could be something added to make it seem like some element on the page is jumping out at the viewer. Maybe you can make your girlfriend a little bigger where she is sitting over the area w/ type. Based on the way she is posing, I think it'd be even cooler if you had a tentical reaching down around her waist to pull her in... that might look cooler than just having the big tentacle next to her head. I like the glow on your girl a bit better than the one on the aliens too... I like how it's more spread out and has a softer edge.
The colors are great on the poster though... nice concept and excecution. i like the border too.. but the bottom half of the poster could fit better with the top half of the composition with a few changes
