It's kind of difficult to narrow it down to 5 artist, but I will post some of the most inspiring in my designs.

The one that make stencils look cool again... In your face with the problems that don't affect you in the daily life but that definitely affect in a global scale, from wars to celebs... no body can't hide.
So good news guys, I getting paid for the campaign. After a few meetings with the owner of Havana, we had an agreement with the final price. Here is the final logo that is going to be use for the new location at Canton, GA.
The campaign will include: Logo, Stationary, business card, Ad campaign (this will be display as posters in the store), postcards (20 of each, promotional item for the new store) menu and to-go menu.
This is the menu for Havana I realize that the original one needed sooooo much work that remaking one was definitely one of my biggest priorities. Hope you guys like it...
So for my final assigment in photo 1 I decided to dress up as a Mime ( pretty cool, huh!) It's a love story, that will be narrated through six prints. This photos were taken by "nichellem 1222" and were posted in flickr, take a look and let me know what you think. I will soon post some of my black and white prints.
So here are some of the updated ads for Havana, not finish yet. Im still resolving some minor issues with the consistency of the ads, definitely more things to come.
So these are a few ideas I been working on for Havana... The first one is to adding some fun to the propaganda look, Fidel is respresented in the Illustration shouting or demanding "viva la sandwich" the idea come up from the saying "viva la revolución" demonstrating the independence of Cuba. The "authentic as our history" slogan is to unify history with the authentic feel of Havana's cuisine.
The second campain is to implement some icons to the Ads, these will be "ilustres" in other words people that made a change in Cuba. The icons represent the poets, musicians, idealist and revolutionaries that put Cuba in the map.
The GOOD NEWS!!
So I finally had the courage to go and talk to the owner of Havana, and well... they are considering using my logo for the restaurant. Eduardo Benet Jr. was very entusiastic with all the ideas I presented, so next week I will bring all my designs and I will be "compensated" for my hard work. They really love the logo and a they had a few laugh with the ads, so lets see this will be my first paying client (hoooray!)
Thanx for everybody's feedback yesterday, this really help a lot and there are going to be some changes to the campaign. Furthermore I will also re-design the menu if you have any other ideas feel free to let me know.
Since I been thinking of Havana so much, now I am making some stencils of Fidel and o gang. The illustration are going to be shown as postcards and will reflect the influential "ilustres" that change Cuba. The series is going to include Fidel Castro, ex- president and revolutionary leader of the country . Also musicians like Ibrahim Ferrer singer of Buena Vista Social Club, hows music has influence musicians in a global scale. Revolutionary leaders like Jose Marti considered as the "apostle of Cuban Independence". And Dulce Maria Loynaz, one of the mayor contributors of Cuban poems and literature.
